Rian's Crazy Colorful 7th Birthday Bash!!

So when I asked Rian what kind of theme she wanted her birthday party to be, she told me she wanted a bright rainbow of colors.....well I think I achieved that theme, and I must say I am very proud! I only had a week to put the party together, and now that I am a working momma, it was a little more of a project than I anticipated, but it was well worth it! I didn't get to do every little thing that I wanted, but I am ok with that!
I had seen the idea to do a rainbow cake, so I thought I would attempt that idea with cupcakes! I found just the right food coloring, and this is how my creation turned out!! First time really attempting to decorate cupcakes, but I think they turned out great! I really am hoping for any excuse I can get to do more fun things like this!
I made all of the tissue paper poms, there were a lot more, but they ended up being hung in other places for the party so you cant really get the full picture, but at least you get the idea!
I also made the Happy Birthday banner, and the banner with Rian's name!
And of course I saved the best for last! I decided to go all out for Rian's outfit, so I made this crazy colorful tutu with colors picked out by Rian, and I also made her t-shirt! I found so many great ideas from all the wonderful blogs out there, so I decided to attempt making my own things instead of buying them, and I am so proud of how it all turned out!!
I think she was pretty happy with how it all turned out, what do you think?!
HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY RI!!!

Jones Christmas 2009

Our first Christmas as a complete family, and it was amazing! Yeah it was a little crazy busy, I mean 4 days of Christmas is kind of a lot lol but it was all worth it to see our kids have such a great time! Cole is the perfect age to have his first christmas, in his own way, he knew what was going on! I hope everyone had an amazing holiday season too!

My incredible family! The hubs, me, bubs, nana, grandpa and uncle "goofball"

All the "kids" of the family, it's crazy to see how big everyone is now, I remember when they were all little kids and I was the only big one!

He LOVED playing in the paper after opening his presents!

The best present of all came in already opened paper, no better gift than a handsome little red headed boy!

Chowing down on some christmas cookies.

Cole had a backup plan in case santa didn't spoil him, he knows you can always count on grandma!

Santa was definitely good to the kids this year! I love my family, and I love my life!
